Installation

All ScrubArt skulls are supplied with a DIY installation kit. Each kit includes:

• 2 stainless locating screws (for attaching and detaching horns)
• 1 adjustable M10 stainless bolt, with felt pad (for adjusting the pitch of the skulls when wall mounted)
• 1 stainless cup hook (for skull to be mounted upon, can be affixed directly to timber and metal wall stud, or used in conjunction with supplied plaster plug)
• 1 plaster plug (for securing skull to plaster when metal or timber wall stud is not an option)

When your skull arrives, it will be packed safely with the horns removed. The easiest way to fit the horns is to face the skull away from you resting on a bench top, and slide horns over bone stubs until firm. Be sure to align the pre-drilled holes, as the horns will only match their natural side. Pick up the skull and tip forward, leaning against a wall. This will ensure easy access to screw the horns on. Each skull is unique, and may be best suited to be either wall mounted, bush pole or post mounted, or simply resting on your favourite piece of furniture.
